This is the crunchbox v2 of MI audio verified PCB layout. Added with Jack Orman's LED anti-pop circuit.
http://www.muzique.com/lab/led.htmSimple yet effective anti-pop circuit for true bypass pedals. Opamp is LM833 specifically from National Semiconductor but I use ST's version with excellent results. Try it!Remember to use IC socket.
what ic number ??
ReplyDelete0.022 in this layout is 0.022M or 0.022k or 0.022ohm
ReplyDelete0.022 is 0.022uF capacitors.
ReplyDelete0.022(or 22nF) is in microFarad(uF)..
ReplyDeletewhat's the mainn different with V1??
ReplyDeleteo yeah, one more question, may i get the crunch box v2's schematic, so i can compare with the previouse version....thanks...
ReplyDeleteV1 doesn't have an internal trimmer(PRESENCE).
ReplyDeleteIs there any chance that this layout might be faulty? Also the clipping diodes on the schematic seem to be facing opposite direction.
ReplyDeleteThis is a working layout!. About the diodes, of course it is - take a look at the pads on the LED's.
ReplyDeleteHey there,
ReplyDeleteThis is some awesome work you have here.
The layout link isn't working for me. I was hoping you could send me the layouts for the crunch box, ocd, fuzzfactory, box of metal. I'v been looking for these layouts everywhere.
My email is jeffsavoie12@yahoo.com
Hello Bro, would you send me a layout of crunchbox v2, cause I'm very confused about facing direction of elco 22 uF & diodes.
ReplyDeletethx before...^^ V
my email: vaardigyosa@gmail.com
for those fools who cant get it to work, i pity u.. this layout is 100% working (great too..)
ReplyDeletetips: capacitor type realy got to do with ur final sound... use that boxed (yellow) caps, it sound much-much more better than my expensive 'panasonic' caps..
can someone please send me the parts list ex.(caps,diodes,IC,pot,knob)etc.,etc. heres my email cris1075@msn.com...thanks.
ReplyDeleteSQUARE pads of an electrolytic cap indicates the "+" side.
ReplyDeleteSQUARE pads in diodes indicates the "CATHODE", banded side.
bro, where can i buy a yellow box caps online ,thnx
ReplyDeleteI think you're talking about Topmay brand poly films. Mouser, Small Bear, Futurlec, and all of the usual suspects sell those.
ReplyDeleteWorks great thanks !
ReplyDeleteHi To All! Thanx For this Layout ... just a question: which enclosure does this PCB fit well? Does it fit an enclosure with this dimension? 111x60x32mm??? THANX!!!
ReplyDeleteCan you email me the complete parts list? Thanks.
ReplyDeletecarlocanlas_15@yahoo.com
could you please send the schematic and the complete part list to jean_94@yahoo.com???
ReplyDeletethx bro, appreciate it
It on the pdf file...not really a "list of materials" type but please use your common sense. What's shown in the layout is the parts list. I really can't help if your beginner. There are some stompbox forums you might join in. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteSir pwede pahingi po nung pdf file.. salamat po.. jamramento@yahoo.com.ph
ReplyDeleteSir hingi po sana ako ng pdf file ng pcb at component layout kasi di masiyadong malinaw yung image nung nagprint ako. salamat po. jamramento@yahoo.com.ph
ReplyDeleteIt works great!!
ReplyDeleteI used 100k-B volume potentionmeter and did not use anti-pop circuit.
Link is parts list for this layout that I used.
