Crunchbox v2 project

This is the crunchbox v2 of MI audio verified PCB layout. Added with Jack Orman's LED anti-pop circuit. http://www.muzique.com/lab/led.htm
Simple yet effective anti-pop circuit for true bypass pedals. Opamp is LM833 specifically from National Semiconductor but I use ST's version with excellent results. Try it!Remember to use IC socket.

  8. Is there any chance that this layout might be faulty? Also the clipping diodes on the schematic seem to be facing opposite direction.

  9. This is a working layout!. About the diodes, of course it is - take a look at the pads on the LED's.

tips: capacitor type realy got to do with ur final sound... use that boxed (yellow) caps, it sound much-much more better than my expensive 'panasonic' caps..

  14. SQUARE pads of an electrolytic cap indicates the "+" side.

SQUARE pads in diodes indicates the "CATHODE", banded side.

  16. I think you're talking about Topmay brand poly films. Mouser, Small Bear, Futurlec, and all of the usual suspects sell those.

  21. It on the pdf file...not really a "list of materials" type but please use your common sense. What's shown in the layout is the parts list. I really can't help if your beginner. There are some stompbox forums you might join in. Sorry.
