This is again the Box of Metal from zVex's but with a GATE control. This is not the actual gate circuit of the original. The gate control is taken from G2D's Morpheus pedal. I haven't tried it yet as this was meant for experimenting. All the non-labeled transistors are BS170. Opamp can be any as long as it is a single one. Feel free to comment.

I'm sorry for not providing the component lists of each pedal. But as you can see, they're in the silkscreen texts in every pdf layout file. I'll try to change them and provide a lists.

ReplyDeletehi rapid, i monted this pcb but it doesn´t work, i change the j177 for j174, very expensive fet, it sound very low without gain, and the noise gate didn´t make his funcion.

i had built it one, the layout is worked but the gate control did not work.
ReplyDeleteYou don't need the PDF file to make a pcb transfer, you can just resize the layout with image editor such as the adobe photoshop or the corel draw. Please pay the atention to make sure that the distance for each pin of the IC is 2.5 mm for the example. If ok so that is the true size.

Probably you will need to amplify signal using TL071, not only buffering. As you can see on Morpheus schematics http://forum.musikding.de/cpg/albums/userpics/16474/G2D_Morpheus.pdf signal is amplified just before noise gate circuit. Try this, it should work.

It works well, just curious how if transistor for gate is replacing with another type such J174, J175 or J176. Did anyone build G2D Morpheus? Thank :)
